Aerotowing at Swanborough Airfield

13 September 2008

I've threatened a visit to the hang gliding aerotow operation at Swanborough airfield just outside Lewes for a while and this Saturday I made good on that promise. The weather was probably the best we'd had in a while and I'm sure the light north westerly winds meant the Devils' Dyke would have been insanely crowded with paragliders (later I learned that it was!).

Airborne's New Sting 3

It was my first trip to Swanborough Airfield East Sussex, and to my surprise Johnny Carr turns up with Ariborne's new Sting 3 154. I had to get some pictures as I'm seriously considering upgrading to a larger model of this glider next year!
