Devil's Dyke
Club : Southern Hang Gliding and Paragliding Club
The Devil's Dyke has to be one of the most famous and infamous hang gliding and paragliding sites in the South East of England. Due to its close proximity to Brighton and very good amenities (pub, restaurant and ice cream van), over crowding is a common problem, especially at weekends. That said, on some odd occasions, quite the opposite is true.

The flying club that manages hang gliding and paragliding activity at the Devil's Dyke is the Southern Hang Gliding Club.
The Devil's Dyke is not just popular with hang gliders and paragliders. Hill walking, horse riding, kite flying, aero-modellers and mountain biking are very common activities at the Devils Dyke, consequently, there are a number of rules that the local hang gliding and paragliding club have set.
The Devil's Dyke itself comprises of a short north west facing ridge (the pub hill), a bowl (NNW) and a northerly ridge, which is more of a series of bowls.
